EVENT PLANNING

Project Management, Spreadsheets, Hot Glue, and Grit.

We break down the process of gathering and observe it from the Biblical, social, emotional, financial, and logistical viewpoints. Students execute large real-life events, strategize the art of planning, work on setting and achieving goals, and understand what it takes to become a professional event planner.

Our event planners learn valuable modern project management software like Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and Notion. Additionally, they practice communication and professionalism through maintaining real roles and titles throughout the year’s events; switching from event manager to creative director to project coordinator on different events. To embellish the class further we brush up on our job interview, resume, and interpersonal communication skills…and arrange a floral or two.

This class will help you: work effectively in teams, create big ideas and execute them well, communicate your ideas efficiently, solve problems with empathy, become a confident leader, and innovate every aspect of life.
